Desired Results Developmental Profile - Revised (DRDP-R)
http://www.wested.org/desiredresults/training/

  • The DRDP-R assessment tool for children encompasses the four developmental domains; cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development.  The DRDP-R looks at six domains:
    • Children are personally and socially competent.
    • Children are effective learners.
    • Children show physical and motor competence.
    • Children are safe and healthy.
    • Families support their children’s learning and  development.
    • Families achieve their goals.

Teachers gather observations of children engaging in everyday activities to complete the developmental assessment.  The DRDP-R tool is used with children birth through 12 years of age.  After the teachers have completed the assessment a parent meeting is scheduled to review the children’s strengths and areas for growth.
