Health and Nutrition
A nutritious breakfast, am supplement, lunch, or pm supplement are provided to all sites daily depending on your child's program schedule.
Infant formula is provided in consistency with WIC recommendations. Menu productions are maintained daily monitoring your infants food and liquid intake.
Menus are approved by our Nutrition Coordinator. Special Diets are accommodated upon completion of A Special Dietary Needs Form verified with your physicians signature.
All food service and at least one classroom staff attend Food Safety Certification training organized by the El Dorado County Environmental Management Department.
Bi yearly Health Inspections are conducted by the Environmental Health Division Official Inspection Reports are available upon request.
Child Development employees attend regular scheduled staff training to keep updated on requirements by the California Department of Education.
