Department Description
Personnel Services serves as a resource to the El Dorado County Office of Education for all personnel issues and employee recruitment for both certificated and classified positions.
The Merit System governs the establishment of eligibility lists and employment standards for classified employees to ensure that classified staff are selected, promoted, and retained without favoritism or prejudice. The Personnel Commission meets each month in order to maintain a viable Merit System as well as address other personnel issues.
In addition, recruitment and personnel services are provided to the Charter Schools within the El Dorado County Office of Education.
