Special Education Services
For students whose primary disability is a moderate to profound hearing loss and who do not attend their neighborhood schools or the California School for the Deaf at Fremont, we offer a special day class and interpreter support. Due to the low number of students in the county with this disability, only one class is operated. Our interpreters use ASL sign language as their primary form of communication, though SEE sign and other forms may be used to meet the needs of the individual students.
