For technical support questions, contact your school's or program's on-site technical support person first.  If you do not have technical support person on-site or if your site's technician has referred you to the Information Technology department, please contact the Help Desk.

You can reach the Help Desk by phone at (530) 295-2234.  If this line is busy, please leave a message describing your problem.  Voice mail messages are screened and answered based on the priority of the problem.  Please do not leave duplicate messages.  If the problem resolves, please leave another message canceling your earlier request for support.

You can also contact the Help Desk by sending an email to .  Email is answered in the order in which it is received, so please try to contact us by phone for emergency or time-sensitve issues. Email is particularly useful for error messages, which can be copied into the body of the message or attached as files.  You can press 'Alt'+'Print Screen' to copy any active window and then you can paste it into an email or WordPad document.
