School Readiness -
Preschool/Kindergarten Transition Planning

 

 

Early Care And Education/Kindergarten School Readiness Articulation Days from the 2008/09 program year:

 

As part of the School Readiness Transition Plan project, Early Care and Education professionals and Kindergarten teachers were invited to participate in 2 Articulation Day opportunities offered in Placerville and South Lake Tahoe.

 

The fall 2008 Articulation Day featured Dr. Joni Samples, President, EdSuccess.  She provided a guided examination of the Preschool Learning Foundations and the Kindergarten Standards and asked the participants to work in teams to develop strategies for teaching these foundations and standards to their students.
