School Readiness
For the 2012/13 school year, semi-annual Articulation meetings will be held on the Western Slope/Georgetown Divide and in South Lake Tahoe. The meetings, scheduled for fall and spring, are open to all ECE professionals, preppy K, and Kindergarten teachers serving children in El Dorado County.
The fall 2012 Articulation Day was held on December 3, 2012 at the El Dorado County Office of Education, 6767 Green Valley Road, Placerville, CA 95667 in room D-4 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the December 5, 2012 South Lake Tahoe meeting was canceled due to illness. The topic for the fall training was "Bridging Preschool foundations and the Common Core", presented by Mary Jo Verbitsky.

The spring 2012 Articulation Days were held April 17 and April 24 at the El Dorado County Office of Education, 6767 Green Valley Road, Placerville, CA 95667 in room D-4 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. A third training was held in South Lake Tahoe on May 15 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Lake Tahoe District Office in the Board Room. The topics for the spring training were "Strategies and Interventions to Address Challenging Behavior" and "Literacy Stategies for English Learners".
